MAG3 Built for Aerospace Machining
The MAG3 5-axis horizontal machining center is specifically designed for high-productivity aerospace machining of complex aluminum monolithic parts.

With larger strokes and pallet size vs. the MAG1, the MAG3 integrates 33k RPM / 130 kW spindle with rapid machine movement rates to maximize metal removal capabilities. The MAG3 can be integrated with an automatic pallet transfer and storage system for extended periods of unattended operation.

The MAG3 integrates spindle speed and power with a machine platform that provides rapid precision-contouring capability while maximizing the percentage of in cut spindle time.  The compact spindle and short pivot point provided ideal five face work piece accessibility to minimize setups and process variation.

Industry-leading 33,000 rpm – 130kW spindle design, ensures high metal-removal rates. The MAG3 can also be integrated with an automatic pallet transfer and storage system in Makino’s highly flexible MMC system that enables extended periods of unattended operation.
